28 May 2017 - Iceland Day 3: Icelandic Horses

On our way to the famous Geysir, we had a very close encounter with the Icelandic Horses.

These horses are small and due to their size, they look more like a pony.  You can read up more about them here.

Jerlene and Javier had a great time watching these horses getting fed with fruits by some other tourists.

Icelandic horses can be seen all around Iceland.  As you drive out of the main towns, you are bound to see them grazing in the plain along the road.  It's like driving around New Zealand where we are sure to see sheep in the country side.
