2 Jun 2017 - Iceland Day 8: Hafragilsfoss
It's just a short drive from Dettifoss to Hafragilsfoss on the gravel road.
This waterfall is also on the glacial river Jökulsá á Fjöllum, making it a powerful waterfall. It has a single drop of 27 meters (89 feet) and has an average width of 91 meters (300 feet)
Below Dettifoss, the Hafragilsfoss waterfall cascades 27 m into a deep Jökulságljúfur canyon.
One interesting sight here was the red pebbles all over the ground.
And below showed the state of our car after driving on gravel road in the rain. :-P
