1 Jun 2017 - Iceland Day 7: Blue Lake and Mývatn Nature Baths

Before reaching Mývatn, we came upon a beautiful steaming hot blue lake.

There were signs around warning people of the hot water in the enchanting blue lake.

It's worth a short stop here before driving into Mývatn.

Just across the road, we arrived at Mývatn Nature Baths, an alternative to the famous Blue Lagoon.

As it was rainy and cold, we decided not to dip into the bath.  Having said that, we had planned to visit the more popular Blue Lagoon on our last day in Iceland.

There were brushes on the ground outside the bath for visitors to clean up their shoes.
